Electronic Devices

Cell phones must remain on silent or vibrate at all times on Mayacoo Lakes Country Club Property.  Members are asked to give consideration to other Members by restricting all cell phone usage in the Club’s dining areas.  Calls may be taken in the men’s and ladies locker rooms, outside patios and men’s card room.   Texting and emailing is allowed at all times on the entire property except in the formal dining room during dinner service.

Cell phone conversations are not permitted on the golf practice facilities including the range, practice putting green and chipping area.  Including adjacent cart paths.  However calls may be accepted in carts while on adjacent cart paths as long as conversations are kept to a brief time period.  Otherwise, calls should be continued in areas designated as permissible for cell phone use.

Care for The Course

  • Players are requested to enter and exit the low point of the bunker and avoid walking up greenside. All footprints and holes made by a player should be carefully raked before exiting.
  • Divots on the golf course should be filled with sand. Sand buckets are located on all golf carts.
  • To ensure good conditioning of all greens, it is imperative to repair ball marks. Unfixed or improperly repaired ball marks scar the grass and also leave depressions.
  • All carts must stay on the path near tees and greens.
  • Please adhere to any stake postings directing traffic for all holes.
  • Par 3’s are restricted to cart paths only.

Pace of Play

All rounds must be completed in four hours or less for a foursome. All players are expected to play “ready golf” to maintain this pace. It is each group’s responsibility to keep up with the group ahead of them. Please select the appropriate tees based on your skill level to help meet our pace of play guidelines. If a faster group is behind you, please allow them to play through as soon as possible.
